The Gorletic Titan V is an amazing piece of equipment. It feels incredibly solid on my wall; I can hang with my full weight and it doesn't budge or wobble at all. It’s perfect for heavy training, and I’ve even attached gymnastic rings to it for chest-to-bar exercises with zero issues.
Crucial tip: I installed this using chemical anchors (resin) instead of standard expansion bolts. I've seen reviews from people using standard screws on hollow brick walls having issues with the bar coming loose. If you use chemical anchors, this bar is bombproof and completely safe. Highly recommended!
A waste of money. I have installed the pullup bar on 3 different walls in my home and I can’t even hang from the bar without it loosening from the wall. Don’t bother.
Superb
It’s a beautiful and sturdy pull up bar. My son is very happy with it and all it’s possibilities. The only thing that didn’t work, were the plugs that came with it: they weren’t strong enough to stay put in the wall, so after a day, I bought new (Fisher DuoPower) plugs, which are a lot stronger and keep the bar in place
The Gorletic Titan V Pull Up Bar is outstanding in terms of both look and feel. The materials, finish, and overall haptics are truly premium, and once installed, the bar feels extremely solid and professional. From a design and usability perspective, it easily stands out from many competing products.
However, the supplied mounting hardware is a significant weak point. The included screws and wall plugs are not sufficient for installation in concrete walls. Given the weight and forces involved, this is a serious limitation and should be addressed.
In addition, the installation itself requires a very high level of precision. While it is theoretically possible to use larger, more suitable screws, doing so would require modifying the pre-drilled mounting holes. Unfortunately, all standard larger screws have heads that are too large for the recessed mounting pockets provided in the bar.
This results in an unnecessary loss of two points in the overall rating. The issue could be resolved quite easily with a small design adjustment to accommodate larger screw heads or by supplying appropriate heavy-duty mounting hardware.
